  MARY V. BAER

    Mary V. Baer, 70, Rockwood RD 1, died Aug. 25, 1979, it Somerset Community
  Hospital.  She was born May 3, 1909, in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late
  Frank and Nora (Housel) Shumaker.
    She is survived by her husband, Byron Baer, Rockwood RD 1; three sons:
  Glenn, Milton, Pa.; Robert, Friedens; and Max, Rockwood RD 1; four daughters:
  Mrs. Gail (Rita) Heinbaugh, York, Pa.; Mrs. Lois Welsh, Mansfield, Ohio; Mrs.
  Katie Sanner, West Newton, Pa.; Mrs. Darrell (Anita) Klink, Garrett; three
  brothers: the Rev. Paul Shumaker, Greenville, Pa.; Artha Shumaker, Salisbury;
  and Robert Shumaker, Meyersdale; one sister: Mrs. Carl Marteney, Akron, Ohio;
  and 11 grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by two sons and one brother.  She was a member of
  the Rockwood Church of the Brethren.
    Friends were received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, the
  remains were removed to the Rockwood Church of the Brethren for services at 1
  p.m. with the Rev. Edward Caufiel officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery,
  Meyersdale.
