POLLIE BAER

  Mrs. W. H. Baer, aged 71, a former resident of Meyersdale and the mother of 
Undertaker W. J. Baer, of Windber, died Sunday morning at her home at 277 Gibbs 
place, Akron, O.  Mrs. Baer had been in poor health for the last year, but had 
been bedfast only for the last week.  She observed her 71st birthday anniversary 
last Tuesday.
  The Baer family resided in Meyersdale until 21 years ago when they moved to 
Akron.
  In addition to her husband, Mrs. Baer leaves the following children: W. J. 
Baer, of Windber; George Baer, of Akron, O.; Miss Barbara Baer, at home, and 
Mrs. Theo. Micjolowski, of Masontown, Pa.
  The body was brought to Meyersdale Tuesday morning.  Funeral services were 
conducted Wednesday afternoon, followed by interment in Union Cemetery.
