  BAER

  Richard Lee Baer, 82, of Fairhope RD 1, died Feb. 26, 1997, at home.  Born
  July 30, 1914, in Allegheny Township.  Son of Wilson and Alice (Ringler) Baer.
  Preceded in death by parents; first wife, the former Cora Lowery; a daughter
  Jennet Hersh, and four sisters.  Survived by his wife of 54 years, the former
  Mary Day, and these children: Mrs. Robert (Ida) Holler of Buffalo Mills;
  Roger, married to the former Darlene Linger, of Oak Hill, Tenn.; John of
  Fairhope RD 1; Larry, married to the former Erica Kott of Chicago, Ill.;
  Geraldine Shumaker of Rockwood; Mrs. Paul (Maryalice) Danko, Munroe Falls,
  Ohio; Shirley Rose, Berlin; Carol Zeller of Huntingdon, and Henry, married to
  the former Sarah Rose, of Kokomo, Ind.; 37 grandchildren; numerous great and
  great-great-grandchildren.  Retired auto mechanic.  Family will receive friends
  from 7-9 p.m. Friday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. Sherman Berkey
  officiating.  Interment, Mount Zion Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be
  given to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice.
