  Mrs. Vietta M. Baer, 44, of Friedens RD 1 died June 19, 1978 at her
  residence.  Born May 15, 1934 at Wellscreek, a daughter of the late Morris and
  Sarah Jane (Day) Trent.  Preceded in death by three brothers.  Survived by
  husband, Robert D.; two children: Mrs. Gary (Linda) Baumgardner of Friedens
  RD 2; Robert Jr. of Friedens RD 1; and five grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs.
  Mary Witt, Walter Trent, and Mrs. Dora Logue, all of Somerset; Mrs. Gladys
  Gluhak of Friedens RD 1; Frank of Cleveland, Ohio; Jack of Johnstown; Ken of
  Chardon, Ohio; Eddie of Plymouth, Michigan; and Billie of Beaver.  She was a
  member of the Geiger Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be received at the
  Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9:30 p.m. Tuesday where funeral
  service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Gerald
  Defenbaugh officiating.  Interment, Baer Cemetery.
