  Winifred Lillian Baer, 82, of Somerset died July 25, 2001 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born June 27, 1919 in Somerset. Daughter of Cyrus Knepper and Nora
  B. (Sevits) Brant.  Preceded in death by parents; husband Earl R. Baer who
  died Feb. 20, 1988; brothers, Forrest "Red" Brant and Leo Brant, and sisters,
  June Brant and Marie Salyers.  Survived by: Children, Robert L. Baer married to
  the former Gretchen Lutz of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Robert (Cindy) Hayman of
  Somerset; six grandchildren, Amy, Michael, Andrew, Tyler, Tanner and Jake,
  and two great-grandchildren, Maya and Adam.  Sister of Mrs. John (Hester)
  Mack, Somerset Keith "Shorty" Brant, Somerset; Claude L. "Tub" Brant,
  Somerset, and Mrs. Charles (Frances "Peg") Revello, Somerset.  Member of
  Somerset Church of Brethren and American Legion Post 181 Auxiliary.  A 1937
  graduate of Somerset High School.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Thursday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will
  be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Rev. Roger L. Forry officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to Somerset Church
  of the Brethren, 303 South Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
