Baglio, Sr., 69, 2831 East Eighty-First Place, Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Indiana. Pa., died May 5, 1987, at his residence. A son of Samuel and Josephine DeFazio Baglio, he was born Feb. 12, 1919, at Buffalo, N.Y. Survived by wife, Mary C. (Dean) Baglio; four sons: Joseph I. Jr., Long Beach, Calif.; Michael A., Ebensburg; Anthony J., Percelville, Va.; and Thomas S., Indiana; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Josephine) Hazlett, Tulsa, Okla.; and six grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, sister Rose and two brothers, Leonard and Paul. He had resided in Miami, Fla., for several years, in Indiana, Pa., from 1963 to 1986 and at his present address for the past year. A former member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church, Indiana, a veteran of the Korean Conflict retiring as a First Lt. from the U.S. Air Force, a fighting pilot with the Flying Tigers Group, a recipient of the Flying Cross and a retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service. Friends received 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Frank T. Mihalcik Funeral Home, Indiana. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church, Indiana.
