Dec. 10, 1999 Henry Charles Bahr Sr., 80, of Stevensville, Md., died in Anne Arundel Medical Center on Dec. 10, 1999. Born in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of the late William Daniel and Mary Theresa Reiss Bahr. He was in the plumbing and heating business for over 60 years. From 1965 to 1975, he worked for Harford County as chief plumbing inspector. He lived in Harford County from the early 1950s until 1989, when he retired to the Eastern Shore, where he loved to crab, fish and garden. Mr. Bahr is survived by his wife, Mabel Viola Brown Bahr; 12 children: Margaret M. Werneth of Baltimore; Marie M. Whipp of Baltimore; Henry Charles Bahr, Jr., Bel Air, Md.; Mary E. Bahr of Baltimore: Frances Pullin of New Market, Md.; William, Bahr of Benton, La.; Dorothy E. Orolin of Richmond, Va.; John Leo Bahr of Wilmington, Del.; Ann Duckworth, Baltimore; Robert Woodrow Bahr, Great Falls, Va.; Katherine Patience Duckworth, Baltimore; and Joseph Bahr of Baltimore; one brother, Charles August Bahr of Baltimore; 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Bahr is also survived by his first wife, Margaret Marie Miller. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Elizabeth Bahr; and two brothers, Daniel William Bahr, Sr., and Gerald Bahr. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St., Margaret Catholic Church on Dec. 15, with the Rev. Francis X. Callahan officiating. Interment, St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church Cemetery.
