J. C. BAILEY

  J. C. Bailey, 84, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. E. Jeffries on 
Monday morning at 4 a.m.  Mr. Bailey's wife preceded him in death 22 years ago.
  Surviving are six sons: Ira of Pittsburgh; Homer of Derry; Ralph of Turtle 
Creek; Ernest, Alliance, Ohio; Lloyd, State College; Clarence, Confluence, and 
one daughter, Mrs. E. E. Jeffries of Confluence.
  Funeral services were held at the Humbert Funeral Home on Wednesday afternoon 
at 2:30 with Rev. S. L. Burson in charge.  Interment was made in the Ursina 
Cemetery.  The six sons acted as pall bearers.
