  James E. Bailey Sr., 85, 133 Third St., Acosta, died Aug. 30, 1986, in
  Acosta.  Born Dec. 7, 1900, in Deer Park, Md., son of William and Catherine
  (McCroby) Bailey.  Preceded in death by parents; son James E. Jr., died March
  2, 1979.  Survived by widow, the former Mary R. Harvey; and these children:
  Willa, wife of Harold Bolding, Easley, S.C.; Edward, married to former June
  Tunstall, Somerset; Ruth, wife of Eugene Pansler, Lakeland, Fla.; Joan, wife
  of James Moore, Acosta; Gloria, wife of John Pacifici, Dearborn Heights,
  Mich.; also daughter-in-law Ruth Bailey, Detroit, Mich.; 26 grandchildren; 27
  great-grandchildren. Brother of Robert and Lawrence, both of New Florence RD.
  Member of Acosta Church of God and Jenner Local 1742, UMWA.  Observed 63rd
  wedding anniversary March 9, 1986.  Friends were received at Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Main Street, Boswell.  Service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Acosta Church of
  God where visitation will also be held from noon until the time of service,
  Pastors Samuel E. Charlton and David L. Shreve.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads
  Cemetery.  Memorial contributions to Acosta Church of God would be appreciated.
