Born July 6, 1929, in Acosta, he was a son of James E. and Mary R (Harvey) Bailey Sr. He is survived by parents; widow, the former Ruth Sterner, formerly of Rockwood; and these children: Theresa, wife of Wayne Pettre, Warren, Mich.; Ralph and Kimberly, both at home; two grandchildren. He was a brother of Willa. wife of Harold Bolding, Greeneville, S.C.; Edward, Acosta; Ruth, wife of Eugene Pansler, Lakeland, Fla.; Joan, wife of James Moore, Acosta; Gloria, wife of John Pacifici, Dearborn Heights, Mich. Member of First United Methodist Church, Madison Heights. He was an army veteran of Korean Conflict and employee of Chrysler Corp. Friends were received at Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, Boswell. Funeral services were held Monday at the Acosta Church of God, the Rev. Lloyd A. McCollum. Interment, Fenner Crossroads Cemetery. The Republic, March 8, 1979 [B0111]
