Bailey, 77, of Somerset passed away Feb. 28, 2000 at home. Born May 31, 1922 in Lavansville. Son of George and Carrie (Mull) Bailey. Preceded in death by parents and brothers Frank and John. Survived by wife of 53 years Lydia (Moore) Bailey, son Gary married to Julie Bailey and daughter, Gayle, married to Frank Morocco, both of Somerset. Also grandchildren Eric, Lacie, Alyssa and Carrie. Veteran of the US Army in World War II. Member of the First Christian Church in Somerset. He was a retired employee of the Somerset State Hospital with 40 years of service and a member of Lodge 352 of the F. & A. M. and the Harrisburg Consistory. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Pastors Daniel Nicksich and Robert Hoover officiating.
