BAIRD

Mrs. Agnes J. Baird, 40, 611 Quemahoning St.. Boswell, died Aug. 3. Mercy 
Hospital, Johnstown. Born July 9, 1934, Johnstown, a daughter of Joseph B. and 
Agnes E. Friskie Kaniak. Preceded in death by mother, September 1963. Survived 
by father and stepmother, the former Frances Franke, Boswell, husbandm Ronald G. 
("Cubby"), two sons. Ronald E. and Douglas R.. both at home. Sister of JoAnn, 
wife of Leonard Jerin, Barberton, Ohio, and Mary Ann wife of Leo DeLuca, 
Boswell. Member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Boswell, and auxiliary to Post 
461, Boswell, American Legion. Very active participant in functions of the 
Boswell Area Jaycees. Friends were received Sunday evening and will be received 
Monday at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where 
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. 
Joseph's Church, Rev. Samuel Tomaselli officiating. Interment, Mt. Carmel 
Cemetery. Jaycees and wives paid final respects at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral 
home.
