BAIRD

Grace H. Baird, 93, Meyersdale, died Dec. 24, 1985, in Maple Mountain Manor, 
Berlin. She was born Sept. 24, 1892, in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late John 
H. and Malissa (Landis) Hoover. She was preceded in death by her husband, James 
R. She is survived by a sister, Miss Eva Hoover of Penny Farms, Fla.; two nieces 
and a nephew. She was a retired employee of the Cook Candy Company of Meyersdale 
and Cook Jewelry Store. Friends will be received in the Leckemby Funeral Home, 
Meyersdale, Thursday from 7-9 p.m. where service will be Friday at 11 a.m. with 
the Rev. Ray Gnagey officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery.
