BAIRD

Myrtle M. Baird, 83, who lived with her son-in-law and daughter, James and 
Frieda (Shaulis) Shaffer of Mount Wolf, Pa., died April 10, 1994, at Memorial 
Hospital, York. Born Nov. 9, 1910, in Somerset County. Daughter of the late 
James and Cora (Sarver) Ware. Preceded in death by three husbands, three 
sisters, one brother and a granddaughter. Survived by a stepdaughter, Garnet 
Ostrander of Florida; two grandchildren: Mrs. Glenn (Rhonda) Zimmerman of 
Harrisburg and George Zimmerman, Milton, Pa.; three great-grandchildren: Rob 
Lepley married to Karen Wein of Manchester, Sheldon Trout of Harrisburg and Keet 
Zimmerman of New Columbia; two great-great-grandchildren, Amanda and Lance 
Lepley; three sisters, Mrs. John (Anna) Menser and Mrs. Robert (Marian) Menser, 
both of Friedens, and Mrs. John (Nellie) Klotz of Somerset; three brothers: 
Harry of Friedens, Clyde of Stoystown, Edison of East Berlin. Member of Friedens 
Lutheran Church. There will be no viewing or service. Burial in Bakersville 
Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society and sent
