BAJIC

Barbara D. Bajic, 82, Shanksville, died Aug. 6, 1995, at home. Born Nov. 22, 
1912, in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph and Catharine (Kovacic) Matula. Preceded 
in death by parents; husband, Nicholas, and brother, John Stublar. Survived by 
daughter, Barbara A., married to Lewis Hegadus, Shanksville; granddaughters, B. 
Celeste Hegadus of Somerset, and Erika, married to Kevin Wilt, Stoystown RD 3. 
Sister of Catherine Matula of Sidman; Frances Smith and Mary Chakey, both of 
Richland; and Joseph and Tony Matula, both of Ebensburg. Formerly employed at B 
and L Market, Shanksville. Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Family will 
receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner 
Funeral Home, Stoystown, where wake service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday. 
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's 
Catholic Church, Somerset, Msgr. Samuel J. Tomaselli. Interment, Grandview 
Cemetery, Johnstown.
