    D. Marie (Horner) Baker, 91, formerly of Jenner Township, died Aug. 10, 2008, at Laurel
  View Village, Davidsville. Born Oct. 13, 1916, in Jenner Township, the daughter of William
  H. and Sadie M. (Berkey) Horner. Preceded in death by parents; husband of almost 59 years,
  Roy F. Baker, on Nov. 1, 1996; and half sisters, June Laney and June Kennell. Survived by
  nephew, Ron Kennell, married to Alva Kabler, Jenner Township; niece, Gail (Kennell),
  married to Richard Horner, Fredericksburg, Va.; and numerous other relatives. A 1935
  graduate of the former Boswell High School. Longtime member of the Ridge Church of the
  Brethren, the adult Sunday school and the Women's Fellowship of the church. Viewing from
  7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 227 Allegheny St.,
  Boswell, where service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Brian N. Simmons
  officiating. Interment Horner-Mount Tabor Cemetery, Quemahoning Township. Memorials may
  be given to the American Heart and Stroke Association, 400 Luray Ave., Johnstown, PA
  15904 or the Somerset County Blind Center, 748 S. Center Ave., Somerset, PA 15501.
