BAKER Mrs. Mary Simpson received word last Thursday of the death of her sister, Mrs. Elizabeth E. Baker, 79, widow of Simon P. Baker, near Loch Lynn Heights, Md. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the United Brethren Church at Lock Lynn and interment was in the Wonderly Cemetery. Mrs. Simpson was unable to attend the rites because of illness but her son, George Simpson, Richards, W.Va., her daughter, Miss Ethel Simpson, and her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harry C. Edwards, Grantsville, were present at the services. Mrs. Baker was a daughter of the late Ashford and Intha Warnick and was a member of the Maple Springs Church of the Brethren. Surviving are two sons, Charles and Benjamin H. Baker, four sisters, Mrs. Simpson, Mrs. Clara Broadwater, Salisbury, Pa., Mrs. Effie Garlitz, Cresaptown, and Bertha Warnick, Mt. Lake Park; and three brothers, Horace Warnick, Cumberland, John H. Warnick, Moorefield, W.Va., and Arthur C. Warnick, Oakland. Meyersdale Republican, February 12, 1942
