Baker, 65, of 113 Locust Valley Rd., Greensburg, died June 12, 1980, at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born in Somerset County March 29, 1915, son of Milton and Margie (Stahl) Baker of Husband. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Martha Jane (Dunlap) Baker; son, Richard A. Baker of Greensburg; daughter, Mrs. Edward (Jeanine) McGrath, Bricktown, N.J.; two sisters: Mrs. Clarence (Ethel) Lape, Somerset; Mrs. Jack (Hazel) Sutter, Fair Oaks, Calif.; two grandchildren. Graduate of Indiana State College, he received his master's degree at California State College. Sixth grade teacher at Hempfield Area Elementary Schools. Member of: Zion Lutheran Church, Greensburg; Hempfield Area Education Association; Pa. State Education Association; National Education Association; Greensburg Elks Lodge No. 511; Philanthropy Lodge No. 225; York Rite of Greensburg; Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Forest No. 77; Syria Shrine of Pittsburgh. Veteran of World War II. Friends are being received at the Robert J. Kepple Funeral Home, 524 North Main St., Greensburg, Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Services Monday 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment, Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
