Born Sept. 22, 1923, in Somerset, daughter of the late Kirk R. and Anna L. (Allen) Brant. Also preceded in death by first husband, Guy H. Baker, on Aug. 26, 1972, and a brother, Donges Allen Brant. Survived by second husband, M. Lee Day, and by a son, Kirk H. Baker of Cary, N.C., and by three grandchildren - David Blankenbeckler, Nicole Blankenbeckler and Matthew Baker. A registered nurse; former operating room nurse at Somerset Hospital. Retired from Somerset State Hospital. Graduate of Presbyterian University Hospital School of Nursing, Pittsburgh. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Life member of the American Nurses Association. No viewing or visitation. Body has been donated for medical research to the University of Pittsburgh Medical School Memorial service to be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Rev. Robert L.
