  Eva M. (Hittie) Baker, 98, of Meyersdale, formerly of Berlin, died July 21,
  1998, at Meyersdale Manor.  Born Jan. 30, 1900, in  Northampton Township.
  Daughter of Herman and Emma (Weisel) Hittie.  Preceded in death by parents;
  husband, Robert Baker, and 8 brothers and sisters.  Survived by sister, Mary
  Garner, Indianapolis, Ind., and numerous nieces and nephews.  She attended
  Brush Creek School and Mt. Olivet Church, Johnsburg, as a child.  Member of
  Berlin Brethren Church. Family will received friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Friday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held
  at 11 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Ralph G. Landis.  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
