Born Sept. 20, 1907, in Lincoln Township. Daughter of the late Charles Edward and Lydia Ellen (Gross) Shaulis. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank Oliver Baker, who died March 20, 1968; son, Franklin Baker Jr., who died Nov. 14, 1989, and 2 brothers, Clarence W. and Carl A. Shaulis. Survived by these children: Mrs. Elbert "Jim" (Dorothy) Walker, Friedens RD 2; Edward C. Baker, married to Peggy J. Weaver, Glencoe RD 1, and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ona C. Baker, Somerset; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Member of Somerset Church of the Brethren, where she was a Sunday School teacher; Somerset Grange; Third Society of Farm Women; Somerset Fire Department Auxiliary, and Silver and Gold of Shanksville. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday (today) at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Somerset Church of the Brethren, Somerset, with the Rev. Roger L. Forry and the Rev. Jay E. Shaffer officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Contributions may be made to American Heart Association, Western Pa. Chapter, 224 Broad St., Johnstown, Pa. 15906.
