  GEORGE A. BAKER SR.
  
  George A. Baker Sr., 75, Meyersdale, died October 23 in Berlin.  Born
  February 26, 1901, he was the son of Solomon and Alwilda (Miller) Baker.
  He was preceded in death by his parents, and two wives, Martha (Durr) Baker
  and Susan (Hoyman Barnhart) Baker.  He is survived by his wife, Lewanda
  (Knapp Humberson) three sons: Geroge [sic] Jr. and Bruce, Wilmington,
  Delaware, and Wayne, Newark, Delaware; and these daughters: Mrs. Ethel
  Hetrick, Palm Springs, Calif.; Mrs. Kathryn Baker, Pennsville, N.J.; Velma
  Butler, Grantsville RD; brothers, Clarence Baker, Salisbury; and sisters,
  Martha Meyers, Meyersdale, Edna Mathias, Somerset; Sarah Baer, Salisbury;
  and Mae Baker, Mt. Savage; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
  Friends were received at the Leckemby-Price Funeral Home where services
  were conducted October 26 with the Rev. Richard Ripple officiating.
  Interment was in the Greenville Cemetery.
