Glenn Lewis Baker, 80, Niceville, Florida, died June 16, 1995. Baker was born November 12, 1914, in Sand Patch. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Hughes Baker of Bay City, Mich. Baker is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, LTC Glenn D. Baker and Denise, and their daughters, Leah and Rachael, of Burke, Va.; a daughter and son-in-law, Maresa Gamble Brassil and John, and their daughters, Ariel and Gillian, of Montgomery, Ala.; a second son and daughter-in-law, Keith C. Baker and Lisa, and their children, Andy Jennings, Barbara and Hannah, of Niceville; and a third son and daughter-in-law, Bruce K. Baker and Sheila, and their children, George and Alexis, of Kitzingen, Germany. He is also survived by two sisters: Elva Lashley of Mt. Savage, Md.; and Mildred Boyer of Cumberland, Md., and a number of friends. Baker entered the ser.... and had been a resident of Niceville since that time. Baker actively participated in the Boy Scouts and Little League. He was a member of the American Legion, American Association of Retired Persons, Disabled American Veterans, Retired Enlisted Association and the Mason. A memorial service will be held July 8 at the Main Street Brethren Church in Meyersdale. Interment, Meyersdale. New Republic, July 6, 1995 [B0202]
