  BAKER
  
  Hilda Viola Baker, 88, of Central City, formerly of Meyersdale, died May 4,
  1998, in Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  A daughter of the
  late Harvey E. and Elizabeth (Seigner) Wahl.  Also preceded in death by her
  husband, Earl Baker; sisters: Grace Carver and Martha Bittner; brothers:
  Homer, Carl, and Paul.  Survived by a sister, Hazel M. Shockey, Winchester,
  Va., and a sister-in-law, Mary L. Wahl, Central City.  Also a number of
  nieces and nephews.  Attended the United Methodist Church, Meyersdale.  A
  member of Meyersdale Chapter 548, Order of Eastern Star.  Friends will be
  received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, with Pastor
  Craig L. Lyman officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
