He was born August 10, 1901 in Meyersdale, a son of Harry and Ella Critchfield Baker. His father survives. Surviving also are his wife, Mrs. Iva Holsopple Baker, and the following children: Mrs. Jennings Reitz of Cairnbrook; Mrs. Robert Damewood and Mrs. Raymond Kebaugh of Towson, Md.; Raymond and Irvin Baker Jr., at home, and Ernest Baker in the U.S. Army at Breckenridge; two grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Park Baker and Mrs. William Philips of Seanor; Mrs. Robert Emerick and Mrs. Albert Schubert of Johnstown; Harry Baker of Michigan; James Baker in Oklahoma, and Mrs. W. C. Lewis, Mississippi. Three brothers and two sisters died some years ago. Funeral services were held Saturday, at 1:30 p.m. in the Shank Funeral Home, Windber, followed by additional service in the Husband E.U.B. Church at 3:15 p.m. Burial was made in the Weller Cemetery at Husband. Meyersdale Republican, October 28, 1948
