(Jim) 08/22/06 Daily American James "Jim" H. Baker, 62, East Greenville, Upper Hanover Township, died Aug. 11, 2006 at his home where he resided for the past 35 years. Born in Baltimore, Md., the son of the late Wade F. and Grace L. (Miller) Baker for 41 years. He was predeceased by a sister, Nancy J. Maronowski. Jim was the loving husband of Irene P. (Gottschalk) Baker and he is survived by these children: Angela "Angie" M. Carson and her husband, Karl L. of Perkasie; Dodi L. Baker of East Greenville; and Lauren K. Baker and her fiancˇ, Matthew R. Diana of Stowe; James H. Baker, Jr. of East Greenville; three grand-children: Ashlynn and Shayne Carson and Dustin J. Baker; a brother, William W. Baker and his wife, Pam of Berlin, and many nieces and nephews. For 21 years, he was employed as a machine operator for Mrs. Paul's Frozen Foods, Philadelphia, until retiring in 1992. He enjoyed annual vacations to Potter County, where he was an avid fisherman and hunter. A NASCAR enthusiast, he enjoyed watching all types of car racing. A memorial funeral service was held Aug. 18.
