She was born March 11, 1922, in Somerset, a daughter of Biaggio and Flora (Revello) Morocco. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Merle Theodore Baker, who died May 25, 1980, and brothers, George, Louis, Nat, Victor and Thomas Morocco. Survived by close friend and companion Mary Jane Custer of Tequesta, Fla. Sister of Mrs. Mary Gettings, Charles F. Morocco, Robert "Butch" Morocco and Mrs. Viola Wilhelm, all of Somerset. Member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Tequesta, Fla., St. Peter's Catholic Church, Loyal Order of Moose Loge 0-1471 of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. A 1940 graduate of Somerset High School. Co-owner with her husband of the former Merle T. Baker Lumber Co. of Bakersville. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. Vigil for the deceased will be at 3:45 p.m., Monday. Funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, with the Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli, Celebrant.
