  LEWANDA BAKER
  
  Lewanda Humberson Baker, 83, Meyersdale, died Dec. 27, 1983, at Maple
  Mountain Manor.
  She was born Aug. 13, 1900, in Selbysport, Md., a daughter of the late John
  and Salina (Lowdermilk) Knapp.  She was preceded in death by her husband,
  George A. in 1978.
  She is survived by three sons: Bruce and Vernon, both of Friendsville, Md.;
  and Ronald, Meyersdale; and these step-children: George, Bruce, Wayne, and
  Mrs. Ethel Hetrick, and Mrs. Catherine Baker; 17 grandchildren; and nine
  great-grandchildren.  She was a member of the First Christian Church,
  Meyersdale.
  Friends were received at the Leckemby Funeral Home, where services were
  held with the Rev. Richard Ripple officiating. Interment, Addison Cemetery.
