Born September 30, 1897, in Somerset County, she was the daughter of Bruce and Ida Zimmerman Brant. Preceded in death by her first husband, Nevin Brant and second husband, James Baker; one son; one granddaughter; two brothers and one sister. Survived by their children: Edwin (Pete) Brant, Lake Milton, Ohio; Ward W. Brant, Deerfield, Ohio; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. These brothers and sisters: Millard Brant, Garrett; Roy of Johnstown; John of Bakersville; Mrs. Minnie Merrill of Johnstown; Mrs. Paul (Ruth) Sheeler, Somerset; and Howard of Somerset RD. She was a former school teacher in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services were held Monday. Officiating were Rev.
