MARTHA L. BAKER

  Mrs. Martha L. Baker, wife of George A. Baker, died in the Hazel McGilvery 
Hospital at 7 o'clock this (Thursday) morning at the age of 34 years.
  She was born in Meyersdale Feb. 24, 1910, a daughter of Charles and Sofa 
(Slabaugh) Durr.
  Surviving are her husband and these children: Velma I., aged 15; Albert G., 
aged 12; Catherine, 9; Wayne, 8; Ethel, 5, and Bruce, 4.  The following brothers 
and sisters also survive: Mrs. William Long and Ray Durr of Akron, Ohio; William 
and John Durr, of Baltimore, Md.; Mary of Connellsville; and Charles E, overseas 
with the U.S. Army.
  The body will remain at the Price Funeral Home until funeral arrangements are 
complete.
