  Ona Cora Baker, 65, Somerset, died Oct. 13, 1996, at her residence.  Born
  Jan. 20, 1931, in Somerset.  Daughter of the late Irvin Ernest and Grace
  Idella (Davis) Shaulis.  Also preceded in death by husband, Franklin Baker
  Jr., who died Nov. 14, 1989; brothers: William J. B. Shaulis, Wayne Robert
  Shaulis and James Clyde Shaulis.  Survived by these children: Mrs. David
  (Patricia) Baer, Friedens RD 2; Franklin "Mike" Baker, married to the
  former Tammy Will, Somerset RD 7; Robert C. Baker, married to the former
  Linda K. Ludy, Somerset RD 2; Mrs. Ronald A. (Beverly A.) Miller, Somerset;
  grandchildren: Mrs. Shawn (Jessica) Gross, Gretchen Baer, Christopher and
  Wendy Baker, Angela, Alice and Zachary Baker and Kyle Miller;
  great-grandson, Ashton Gross.  Sister of Vernon D. Shaulis, Bethany, W.Va.;
  Ernest R. Shaulis, Somerset RD 7; Mrs. Jay R. (Marlene) Deaner, Stoystown RD
  I. 1949 Graduate of Somerset High School.  Member of Somerset Church of the
  Brethren and Widowers Club of Somerset.  Life member of Somerset Fire
  Department Auxiliary.  Member and assistant secretary of Stoystown Lioness
  Club.  Did volunteer work for Laurel Arts and American Cancer Society. 
  Friends received 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the
  Hanger-Zeigler, Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted at
  10 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Joseph Beer and the Rev. Gerald E.
  Deffenbaugh officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  Contributions may
  be made to Stoystown Lioness Club in care of Mrs. Charles Deaner,
  Stoystown, Pa. 15563.
