Baker, 55, Somerset, died Oct. 17, 2008, in Pittsburgh. Born July 13, 1953, he is the son of the late Harry M. Baker Jr. and Mary (Lewis) Baker, Somerset. Besides his father, he is preceded in death by a son, Tommy. Survived by his mother; wife, the former Hazel Emerick, to whom he was married 36 years; children, Mrs. William (Cindy) Beeman, Markleton; and Mrs. Tim (Lisa) Oakes, Somerset; and three grandchildren, Richard Oakes, Bill and Lindsay Beeman. Brother of Martin Baker and fiancˇe, Mary Miller, Friedens; Barry Baker, married to the former Deborah Putman, Somerset; Kay Stanton and husband, Terry, Grantsville, Md.; William Baker, married to the former Sally Baltzer, Shanksville; and Mary Ann Lee, Somerset. Member of the Jenner Rod and Gun Club and the Laurel Hill Sportsmans. Employed at Somerset Foundry and Machine Co. for 15 years and was a self-employed painter. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Roy A. Worsham officiating. Interment in the Union Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the family.
