  RUTH E. BAKER
  
    Ruth E. Baker, 84, Meyersdale, died Jan. 10, 1980, at home.
    She was born Jan. 3, 1896, in Rockwood, daughter of the late Rev. David
  and Martha (Keck) Ellis.  She was preceded in death by husband, William D.,
  who was founder of Baker Chevrolet Co. of Meyersdale, and five brothers. 
  She is survived by daughter, Mrs. Robert A. (Martha) Shumaker, Meyersdale;
  granddaughter, Mrs. William (Janie) Boger, Meyersdale
  RD 3; and great-granddaughter, Rebecca; also a number of nieces and
  nephews.  She was a member of United Church of Christ, Garrett; Trinity
  Chapter 138, Order of Eastern Star; and Meyersdale Garden Club.
    Friends were received at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service
  was conducted with the Rev. Robert Robertson.  Interment, Highland
  Cemetery, Garrett.  Eastern Star service was held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at
  funeral home.
