SOLOMON BAKER

  Funeral services for Solomon Baker, aged 74, of Sipesville, who dropped dead 
on Christmas night while visiting friends in Somerset, were conducted in the 
Casebeer Lutheran Church.  Rev. C. K. Spiggle officiated.  Interment was in the 
church cemetery.  Mr. Baker's death was attributed to a heart attack.  His wife, 
Mrs. Mary (Bittner) Baker, passed away several years ago.  Surviving are two 
daughters, Mrs. Norman Yoder and Mrs. Harry Maurer, and a son, Clyde Baker, all 
of Sipesville.  He was a brother of Simon and Abraham Baker and Mrs. Nancy 
Barron, all of Friedens.
