Born in Franklin, she was a daughter of the late John H. Wagner and Caroline (Jones) Wagner. Her husband, Edward G. Baker, preceded her in death. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Violet Arnold, Meyersdale RD 3; Mrs. Lillian Crowe, RD 2, Frostburg, Md.; Mrs. June Fissell, Oxon Hill, Md.;. and Mrs. Janice Wilhelm, Walton Hills, Ohio; three sons, Carl Baker, RD 2, Frostburg, Md.; Edward Baker, Heath Ohio, and Everett Baker, RD 4, Cumberland, Md.; a sister, Mrs. Eva Branson, Cumberland; a brother, Howard Wagner, Finzel; 25 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, where services were conducted with the Pastor K. Almond officiating. Interment was in Johnson Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dale Baker, Everett Baker, Edward Baker, Donald Crowe, Ronnie Fissell and Mark Wilhelm. The Republic, August 26, 1982 [B0284]
