  Lois G. Baldrige, 77, Friedens, died Oct. 31, 2005, at Somerset Hospital. Born
  June 24, 1928, in Baltimore, Md., she is the daughter of the late Richard and
  Helen Schafer. Also preceded in death by brother, Richard Schafer. Survived by
  sons, Richard Reed Baldrige, Friedens; and Michael Rude Baldrige, Pittsburgh;
  friend and companion for 35 years, Gordon Rainey. Retired claims representative
  for the Social Security Administration and a graduate of Carnegie Tech. Friends
  received 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where
  service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Father Mark Zimmerman
  officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
