Baldwin, of Somerset, died Sunday afternoon in the Weirton, W.Va., Hospital as a result of burns about the body which she suffered last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Brown in that place. Miss Baldwin had been employed at the Brown home for some time. While passing a burning gas stove her clothing became ignited and before she could extinguish the fire she suffered first degree burns of the entire body. The unfortunate girl's sister, Mrs. Frank Simpson, of Somerset, and mother motored to Weirton last Saturday to visit the sufferer. They started on their return trip to Somerset Sunday morning and found news of her death awaiting them when they arrived home Sunday night. In addition to her parents and sister, Mrs. Simpson, Florence is survived by a brother, Richard Baldwin. Her body was brought to Somerset by Undertaker Hauger. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Baldwin home by Rev. Dr. Earl C. Weaver, pastor of the Somerset United Brethren Church. Interment in the Husband Cemetery.
