Balint, 71, of Indian Lake, died March 1, 2000 at Good Samaritan Nursing Care Center. Born July 7, 1928, in McKeesport, the son of Stephen and Margaret (Tobias) Balint. Preceded in death by parents, a sister, Margaret, and brother, Stephen. Survived by wife, the former Albina Fato, and these children: Paul, Indian Lake; Marsha, wife of Jonathan Flower, Somerset; Larry, Johnstown; and Jay, married to the former Kathy Simpson, Hagerstown, Md. Also survived by grandchildren, Benjamin, Raymond, Christina, Emma and Max. Brother of Evelyn, Elmer, Edward, Robert and Richard. Retired Branch Manager of WESCO Johnstown Division. U. S. Navy veteran of W.W. II, Charter member of Indian Lake Golf Club. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central city, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 2:15 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady Queen of Angels Chapel, Friar Charles Bodziak. Committal, St. John's Cemetery. Graveside military rites by Central City VFW and American Legion Posts. In lieu of flowers family asks donations be make to American Heart Association in John's memory.
