  BALL
  
  Vera E. Ball, 93, of Somerset and formerly of Berlin, died April 2, 1999,
  at Patriot Manor.  Born July 30, 1905, in Berlin.  Daughter of H. Frank and
  Sadie (Shaver) Ball.  Preceded in death by parents, sisters Marie Dively,
  Eleanor Saylor and Norma Hauger.  Survived by sisters: Evelyn Ball of
  Pittsburgh and Gertrude Will of Fort Collins, Colo., and brother, Richard
  Ball of Sun City, Ariz.  Many nieces and nephews and close friend, Janet
  Bender of Berlin.  Lifelong resident of Berlin before moving to Easy Living
  Estates in Somerset in 1996.  Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church,
  Berlin, and Pius Spring Woman's Club.  She was known for her readings and
  needlepoint.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Monday at Deaner Funeral Home., Berlin.  Viewing at Holy Trinity Lutheran
  Church from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Melvin A.
  Kirk Jr.  Interment, IOOF Cemetery, Berlin.  In lieu of flowers, memorials
  may be given to Easy Living Estates, 138 East Main St., Somerset, PA 15501
  or Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, PA 15530.
