Born Dec. 4, 1953, in Windber, son of the late John and Jean (Killian) Balogh. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, John "Skip" Balogh and Frank J. Balogh and brother-in-law, Joseph Hildebrand. Survived by sister, Gloria Hildebrand and fiancˇe, William McCool of Mine 37 and sister-in-law, Patricia Balogh, Mine 40. Also survived by niece, Julie, wife of Joseph Muller and their daughter, Brianna Fingerhoot. A graduate of Richland High School, an employee of International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers Local No. 2 and a member of Windber L.O.O.M. Friends will be received 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber. The Very Rev. Leonard E. Voytek officiating.
