    Elizabeth (Shubik) Balsavage, 95, Boswell, died June 25, 2008, at Somerset
  Hospital. Born July 26, 1912, in Jerome, daughter of Metro and Elizabeth (Siko)
  Shubik. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John J. on Aug. 24, 1984; son,
  Robert G. on Nov. 9, 2002; and brothers, Andrew, Paul and George. Survived by
  son, John Richard, married to Nora Leigh Cummings, Falls Church, Va.; and
  daughter, Georgine, married to George Burton, with whom she resided;
  grandchildren, John C. and Mark A. Balsavage, Ashleigh (Balsavage) Blatt,
  Jennifer (Burton) Smindak and Rebecca (Burton) Pietrusinski; and five
  great-grandchildren. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish. Viewing from 6 to 8
  p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St.,
  Boswell, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. Friday. Funeral
  Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Church, Boswell. The Rev.
  Father Justin Ratajczak, OFM Conv., celebrant. Committal, St. Stanislaus
  Cemetery, Boswell.
