  David L. Balsley, 69, Mill Run, died Jan. 22, 2006, at Somerset Hospital. He
  was born Feb. 11, 1936, in Connellsville, a son of Charles and Mary (Enos)
  Balsley. His parents and sisters, Sally Prinkey and Josephine Kazaro preceded
  him in death. He is survived by his wife, Judy (Pluto) Balsley; daughter,
  Kathryn and husband, Christopher Gordian, Confluence; sons, Charles "Pickles"
  Balsley, Somerset; David "Bug" Balsley, Mill Run, and Scott "Pie" Balsley,
  Uniontown; grandchildren: Fred Balsley, Matthew Gordian and Morgan, Kara, and
  Billy Balsley; sister, Peg Jacobi, Tuckerton, N.J. and brothers, Henry "Herk"
  Balsley, Maine; John Balsley, Markleysburg and Charles Balsley, Connellsville.
  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where a funeral
  service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Dean Hay officiating.
  Interment, Sands Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
  sent in care of Kathryn Gordian, 202 Back Road, Confluence, PA 15424.
