Baltzer, 82, Palmyra, formerly of Hooversville, went home to be with the Lord on April 13, 2007. Born April 22, 1924, in Hooversville, son of the late George Maurice and Helen (Fleming) Baltzer. Donn is preceded in death by his wife, Doris (Speicher) Baltzer, and son-in-law, Tom Brown. Donn is survived by daughters, Cheryl Freer and Karen Ott; grandsons, Kevin Brown, Chad Ott and Brent Ott; great-granddaughter, Delaney Ott; sister, Mary Boyer; granddaughter- i n-l a w Maureen Ott; and sons-in-law, Tim Freer and Greg Ott. Donn served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He retired as a metallurgist from Bethlehem Steel and was, for many years, a licensed gemologist and manufacturing jeweler in Hooversville. Donn was a member and former Sunday school teacher of the Hooversville Church of the Brethern. In memory of Donn, friends are asked to be reminded of Jesus' love and salvation, and to share the Good News with others.
