  BALZER
  
  John F. Balzer, 71 of Sewickley, formerly of Central City, died Jan.
  30, 1996, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born March 5, 1924,
  in Conway, Pa.  Son of the late John Andrew Balzer and Celia (Miller)
  Bennen.  Graduate of Duquesne University and was self-employed as a
  manufacturing representative for the automotive industry.  Survived by
  wife, Joan S. (Schlumpf) Balzer; three daughters: Beth L. Silver of
  Pittsburgh, Blythe Woods, Baltimore, Md., and Suzanne Figgins, Beaver; one
  sister, Betty Gribben of Monaca, and a brother, Richard F. Balzer, Newport
  News, Va.  Five grandchildren: Sean and Kathryn Riggins, Mara Silver and
  Brett and Cara Woods.  Services at 1 p.m. today in Trinity Episcopal
  Church, 4th and Beaver Street, Beaver.  In lieu of flowers, contributions
  may be made to In Touch Hospice, 651 S. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
