  BANKS
  
  Charles E. Banks, 57, of Somerset, died July 15, 2003 in Somerset.  Born
  July 17, 1945 in Meyersdale a son of the late Theodore and Florence (Scott)
  Banks.  Preceded in death by a brother James.  Survived by two children
  Charlene of N.J. and Tracie of Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers, Theodore of
  Morrisville, and William of Somerset.  Charley was an outstanding football
  player at Meyersdale High School.  He attended Florida A & M.  He played
  semi pro football for the Hampton, N.J. Bears, St. Ann's School in Pa. and
  Golden Knights of Brooklyn, N.Y.  He retired after 25 years with the N.J.
  Highway Authority.  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday
  at Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale where a funeral service will be held
  at 2 p.m. Saturday.
