  Carolyn E. (Baraniak) Baran, 61, formerly of Boswell and Windber died May 7, 
  2004 at Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin. Born Feb. 17, 1943 in Johnstown, 
  daughter of Casimir "Charles" F. and Betty J. (Patterson-Disney) Baraniak. 
  Survived by daughters Rachel, married to William Shearer, Golden, Colo., and 
  Renee Walko, Temecula, Calif; grandchildren William, Hannah and Riley Shearer 
  and Cassandra and Christopher Mills; sister Theresa Fulton, Somerset; nieces and 
  nephews Sonya Brown, Raymond Fulton Jr., Selena Laws and Sabrina Fulton; and 
  several great-nieces and great-nephews. A 1960 graduate of the former JBJ Joint 
  High School, Boswell. Former active member of the Order of Eastern Star, 
  Sunnyvale, Calif. Visitation from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman 
  Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, followed by funeral Mass at 1 p.m. at 
  All Saints Catholic Church, Boswell, the Rev. Father Mark Curesky OFM Conv. 
  celebrant. Committal, St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boswell.
