  BARAN
  
  Mary E. Baran, 82, Plank Road, Somerset, died March 9, 1999, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 27, 1917, in Middlecreek Township, daughter of Allen
  and Lillian (Gary) Barclay.  Preceded in death by parents, husband, Stanley
  T. Baran, in 1974; and brother, John Barclay.  Sister-in-law of Martin and
  Josephine Zukiewicz and Edward Baran, all of Pittsburgh.  Also survived by
  nephew, Paul Zukiewicz, Charlotte, N.C., nieces: Josephine Kibbee, Urbana,
  Ill., and Mary Louise Zukiewicz, Chillicothe, Ohio, and cousins Anna Gascon
  of Somerset and Pauline Bowlby and Louis Fisher, both of Rockwood.  Friends
  will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home,
  Somerset, with a funeral service to immediately follow, with Pastor Tom
  Singo officiating.  Interment, Scullton Cemetery.
