Baraniak, 72, 322 Ohio St., Boswell, died April 11, 1982, at VA Medical Ceuter, Altoona. Born Feb. 18, 1910, in Boswell, son of George and Mary Ann (Hydosh) Baraniak. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Alex, Anthony, Edward, and Joseph; sister, Anna Savage; also three infant sisters and brothers. Survived by widow, the former Betty J. Griffith; two daughters, Carolyn E., Sunnyvale, Calif. and Theresa A., wife of Raymond Fulton, White, Pa.; nine grandchildren; one great granddaughter. Brother of John, Michael, and Mrs. Sophie Cebula, all of Boswell; and, Mamie Dubinski, Akron Ohio. Member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Boswell, and American Legion Post 461, Boswell. Amry [sic] veteran of World War II having service with "Fighting" 69th Infantry Division. Retired employee of Boswell Lumber Co. Celebrated 42nd wedding anniversary Nov. 18, 1981. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
