Born March 6, 1934, in Black Township, son of the late David W. and Bessie Marie (Carolus) Barber. Survived by sister, Mrs. Ronald (Ellen) Benford; also nieces Ruth Singo, Jean Hendershot and Mary Klink; great-nephews Bob Singo Jr. and Tony Singo; and great-nieces Barb King, Crystal Klink and Becky Klink; and great-great-niece Jessica King. Also survived by aunts Irene (Carolus) Hoover and Janet (Barber) Bittner and very close friends Tom Bennett and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Baker. Member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 0279 Rockwood, where he was a former commander. Member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Somerset. He was a retired truck driver for Fleetwood Inc., Somerset. Member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Rockwood. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Pastor Ardelle Mason officiating.
