  BARCLAY
  
  Deane W. (Chick) Barclay, 52, of Somerset RD 2 died May 5, 1978 in the
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Aug. 19, 1925 in Somerset County, a son
  of Clarence Barclay and the late Marie Crise Barclay.  Preceded in death by
  mother.  Survived by four children: Lana Kay, wife of Kenneth Hawkins of
  Ravenna, Ohio; Deborah Sue, wife of Boyd Rowe of Grundy, Va.; Gary Deane of
  Somerset RD 5; and Bradley David of Somerset RD 1; also 10 grandchildren and
  these brothers and sisters: Galen of Wilmington, Dela.; Mrs. William
  Williams of Stoystown; Mrs. Verle Fritz of Somerset; Mrs. Patricia Meyers
  of Roy, Utah; Mrs. Joy Mason of Findley, Ohio; and Larry of Somerset RD
  1.  He was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Acosta; veteran
  of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy; formerly employed by
  Bethlehem Steel Company of Johnstown; and a retired barber.  Friends will
  be received after 7 p.m. Saturday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where
  Wake Service will be held at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass
  Monday at 10 a.m. in St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Acosta, with the
  Rev. J. Joseph Strittmatter officiating.  Interment, Beams Cemetery.
